Job Description:

Forbes Hospitality, located in Downtown Detroit, is looking for an experienced Catering Sales Manager. We are looking for someone that has experience in Private Events and Weddings and would add to our current sales team. Forbes Hospitality owns and operates the Colony Club, Gem Theatre and Elwood Bar & Grill in Detroit, which are all private events facilities and you would be responsible for selling all three venues. Requirements:College degree (hospitality preferred)Wedding or Private Events sales experienceMust have excellent customer service skillsWork well as a teamOutgoing, a "people person" Responsibilities:Booking and servicing events throughout the planning processTouring venues with prospective clientsWorking with the operations team to ensure that all weddings and events are executed correctly from beginning to endResponding to email & phone inquiriesUnderstanding and relaying all policies, pricing and package information to all potential clientele. Position:Competitive SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.Paid time offFull timeFriendly and supportive office environmentNOT a remote position.
