Description:      Cignus is actively seeking a Sr. Airport Planner for immediate employment. The candidate can look forward to a variety of exciting projects focused on airspace, airside, terminal, and landside planning across a variety of airport systems to address near-term operational issues and long-range master planning. Come join a growing team and work on some of the most exciting and complex airport systems in the world.The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:Manage complex airport planning and analysis projectsSupport the development of airport master plansSupport the preparation of conceptual designs and ALPsConduct planning activities focus on identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and recommending issues involved in airport development and improvementsDevelop and assess trends, statistics, and external impacts affecting airport planningConduct demandcapacity analysesWork directly with clients, airlines, and ATCSupport airsidelandside facility planningOther duties as assignedQualifications:  Bachelors (or Masters) degree in a relevant aviation field15+ years of airport planning experienceDemonstrated project management experience (PMP is a plus)Industry-specific experience and knowledge including FAA ACs and ICAOIATA standardsExperience in CAD and simulation modeling (airside or terminal) a benefitExcellent communications and technical writing skillsProficiency with Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerpointLocation:  This is a hybrid position with a remote work option that requires periodic travel to client locations in the New York area.
