JOB SUMMARYSupport Producers in winning new clients and retaining existing clients through use of commercial insurance expertise, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills. Exercise independent decisions relating to client analysis of coverage and program recommendations for existing clients. In addition to client facing responsibilities, supervise a team of insurance service professionals. Drive success within the team through monitoring performance and productivity and coaching and mentoring teammates.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email and in person.Develop and execute a comprehensive client service plan for all assigned accounts to address their business needs and risk management goals.Continually seek cross-sell opportunities and suggest new lines of coverage.Partner with team to monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients. Formulate a plan with Producer to conduct relationship management meetings andor visits with assigned clients.Serve as subject matter expert for questions and issues related to assigned area.Manage team members, including hiring, coaching, monitoring, setting goals, completing evaluations, enforcing accountability, and developing strengths to lead to success.Identify team challenges, provide support, and follow through to resolution.Identify and recommend techniques and practices to improve operational efficiencies.Other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill andor ability required. Seven years of experience in insurance industry 3. Insurance P&C license 4. Highly effective written and verbal communication and facilitation skills 5. Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goals 6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products Preferred Qualifications: 1. Supervisory experience 2. Knowledge of insurance-specific systems and applications 3. Industry designation such as Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Services Representative (CISR)
