Ideal candidate with have pre-suit file management and litigation support experience in plaintiff personal injury cases.JOB DUTIESThis position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:Handle intake calls & scheduling appointmentsClaims setupCollect, organize, and summarize certified medical recordsbillsFollow up on missing medical informationResearch medical providersClient contactWork with insurance carriers (liabilityUIMUMsubrogation)Schedule depositions of clients, witnesses, experts, doctors, etc.Schedule mediationsSchedule attorney meetingsWork with investigatorsPrepare settlement packagesAnswer InterrogatoriesRequest to ProducePrepare Notice of DepositionPrepare Notice of Filing Certified Medical RecordsPrepare Request to Admit BillsPrepare Witness ListsAssist with trial preparationManage defense authorizationsrecordsAt settlement, reviewing final liens and balancesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESGood understanding of personal injury processAbility to summarize medical records and bills (keyboarding skills a must)Handle property damageGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office productsUnderstanding of subrogationGood phone skillsAbility to assist attorneys with litigation work including handling discovery process through trialEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 3-5 years in personal injury law or equivalentParalegal Degree or Bachelor's degree requiredThis esteemed law firm offers competitive benefits along with a collaborative and inclusive workplace environment.
