Greenwich St. Jewelers is a leading fine jewelry retailer based in Tribeca, New York. We are currently seeking an energetic, organized, and process-driven Retail Store Director to support our sales team and store operations. The ideal candidate will lead by example and scale our end-to-end retail experience, focusing on engaging both new and loyal customers, online and offline.Starting as a family-run business, Greenwich St. Jewelers has expanded into a thriving company under the leadership of sisters Jennifer and Christina Gandia, with the support of our amazing team. If you're someone who loves to learn, who loves to laugh, and who values a community-focused approach to luxury jewelry, we're excited to meet you already!Responsibilities include:OperationsOperationalize the retail experience and client experience to meet our luxury service standardsOversee the day-to-day operations including ensuring proper staffing across all channels, meeting the demands of a 6-day-a-week retail schedule, operating on the various digital platforms we use for sales and services, handling escalations, and ensuring high-quality customer communications at every step of the sale, repair, return or custom projectEnsure compliance with all internal control procedures: maintain inventory accuracy and monitor inventory trends and performance to maximize salesMaintain the highest standard of housekeeping and organization both on and off the sales floorIntroduce business ideas that offer the potential to increase sales and market shareCreate operational foundations for the team to grow and improve client acquisition, sales skills and client retentionWork cross-functionally with the Marketing and Production teams and company leadership to achieve company goalsCoordinate in-store operations training for all associates on sales mechanics, product and brand knowledgeMaintain visual merchandising standards and store environmentCollaborate with ownership on store budget management and execution to maximize profitabilityTeam DevelopmentInspires and motivates our team with a focus on high morale and achieving resultsLead the team on executing superior customer service and after sales experience to increase and retain customer loyaltyDevelop the sales and customer acquisition and retention strategies that will allow us to be better and growAttracts, develops and retains store talentDemonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor through customer engagement with top clients, ensuring the highest level of customer service is providedOur dream candidate has:Minimum of 5-6 years of management experience in similar role and luxury retail environmentStrong knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, jewelry constructionfabrication; GG degree a plusBachelor's Degree requiredHigh degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, accountability and ability to inspire trust and influence a teamAbility to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business;Must possess an entrepreneurial vision;Proven ability in fostering a high-performance cultureAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships across all levels of the organizationFlexibility to work a retail schedule which includes weekendsWill provide relocation allowance, if neededWhat you'll get at G.St:Annual Base Salary plus Bonus EligibilityFour weeks paid vacation and personal days annuallyMedical, dental and vision insurance401K with employer contributionsCommuter Benefits and Health Savings AccountsGenerous employee discountsAbout usGreenwich St. Jewelers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
