Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required. • 12 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Oregon license in hand at the time of application. • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role. • COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Additional Details: As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT's and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
