Unit Description: Follow your ambitions and choose the career path you crave! Sodexo has an exciting new opportunity for a Full-time, year-round Registered Dietitian 2 (Schools) to support Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia- with an office location in Christiansburg, VA.  This position will work serve as the nutrition expert for the district, working closely with operators and students to provide nutritional guidance and menu support. The ideal candidate will:Assist in menu development, nutrient analysis and management of nutritional information;Provide leadership for the on-site food service staff;Ensure operating standards and regulatory requirements are met;Source the right portfolio of products and services to create the best value;Collaborate with staff, faculty, parent groups and community leaders to meet wellness goals and implement innovative, hands-on learning programs that incorporate food and nutrition within regular curriculum;Be proficient with utilizing social media tools;Manage nutrition databases including PrimeroEdge and Nutrislice;Be responsible for all special diets required by the district; and/orComply with all local, state and federal regulations as it relates to school nutrition.Is this opportunity right for you?
