Job Description:

MAU is hiring a CNC Technician at our client in Conyers, GA. As a CNC Technician, you will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. This is a direct-hire opportunity.Benefits Package:Competitive pay401(k) and 401(k) matchingDental, health, life, and vision insurancePTOOvertime, supplemental pay/bonus payAnnual bonusShift Information:1st shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMRequired Education and Experience:High school diploma or GEDGeneral Requirements:Ability to read technical manuals/blueprints/drawingsMethodical/analytical problem solving skills, and strong mechanical aptitudeStrong organizational/follow-up skills; attention to detailAbility to work well with limited supervisionProfessional presentation and attitudePreferred Requirements:Certificate or 2-year technical degree in Machine Technology, Precision Machining, or CNC OperationsPrevious experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNCsEssential Functions:Read and interpret blueprint designs of the product to be manufactured and set machine to produce product/components to customer specificationRead and interpret job traveler and enter correct information into ERP systemLoad CNC fixtures into machines and set up 3-axis and 5-axis router to manufacture partsMeasure first piece and submit report to Quality department to obtain permission to run productionProgram router by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches, calculating requirements including basic math, geometry, trigonometry, proving part programsPeriodically check CNC machine to ensure positioning of drill stay perfectly alignedMaintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsMaintain equipment through preventative maintenance; following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairsFollow all safety policies, procedures and programsResponsible for individual safety and safety of othersEstablish and maintain company housekeeping standardsAbides by the policies, procedures, and work rules established by the plantPerform other tasks as assignedWork Environment or Working Conditions:Normal work hours with occasional, optional, as well as mandatory overtime necessary to meet deadlinesNormal office and manufacturing plant environment which may include exposure to dust, and both hot and cold conditionsPhysical Demands:This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.Capable of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with government and company safety standardsAbility to stand, bend, twist, grip, and lift up to 50 poundsMAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
