We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S.Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer - Senior for the Tenants Contract, located at the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Nuclear Weapons Acquisition Division (AFNWC/NDB) at Eglin AFB, FL, supporting the Air Force Division.LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FLJOB STATUS: Full TimeTRAVEL: Yes (Approximately 4 trips per year)Required Qualifications / Skills Master's degree, or additional years of qualifying experience A minimum of 10 years of work experience, or additional years' experience for degree substitution An active Secret security clearance is required for consideration (U.S. Citizenship Required) Strong background in Systems Engineering principles, Model Based Systems Engineering, Systems Modeling Language, and Digital Modeling ArchitecturesDesired Qualifications / Skills Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and Unified Architecture Framework are highly desired Experience building workflows in TeamCenter is highly desired Experience working in a DOD program office is a plusResponsibilities Engage in Digital Engineering concept planning; design and development; integration, testing and verification at the system, element, or component level Work in MBSE specialty areas, which include but are not limited to Systems Engineering, Cruise Missile and supporting systems, Modeling and Simulation, Cyber, and Systems Architecture.
