Job Description:

We are seeking a CAD Technician with specialized experience in stormwater management to join our dynamic team. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of stormwater management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of accurate and efficient CAD drawings, supporting the successful implementation of stormwater infrastructure projects.Responsibilities:CAD Design and Drafting:Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create detailed drawings, plans, and schematics for stormwater management systems.Develop accurate site plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction details in accordance with project requirements.Incorporate design elements such as stormwater basins, retention ponds, culverts, channels, and erosion control measures into CAD drawings.Stormwater System Analysis:Apply knowledge of stormwater management principles and regulations to assess project sites and propose appropriate solutions.Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to determine stormwater runoff characteristics and design effective drainage systems.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to optimize stormwater infrastructure designs for functionality, efficiency, and sustainability.Regulatory Compliance:Stay updated on local, state, and federal stormwater regulations, codes, and guidelines.Ensure that CAD designs comply with relevant regulatory requirements and obtain necessary permits for construction activities.Qualifications: Associates or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Enironmental Engineering or related field.CAD experience + proficient in AutoCAD civil 3D software
