Lifeguard for Summer CampCamp Ledgewood- Peninsula, OHCompensation: $475.00 per weekDates: June 9 to August 6, 2024The Lifeguard will act as Lifeguard at both pool and lakefront. They will teach swimming & small craft skills, maintain pool, shower house and lake front. Current lifeguard certification and CPR-PR is required. A certification class will be offered at no charge for our new Lifeguards.Requirements:-Minimum age 16-Hold current certifications in CPR and first aid for lifeguards (certification class will be offered at no charge)-Current lifeguard or swim instructor certification as well as current CPR and first aid for lifeguards from a nationally recognized body-Demonstrated ability to successfully handle conflict resolution at all levels with a variety of people, including external customers-Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality-Ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and/or authority when necessary-Well disciplined, able to meet deadlines-Self-starter-Able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlines-Ability to work well as a part of a team-Ability to meet schedule requirements, including flexible work week, early hours, nights, and weekends-Acts with enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, flexibility and self-control
