Glen-Gery, one of the nation's leading brick manufacturers, has a new career opportunity available for experienced and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing plant in Iberia, OH.Competitive payImmediate startThis position requires strong electrical experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.Position SummaryAs the Industrial Electrician, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as, motors, hydraulic pneumatic, be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining PLC and/or computer-controlled production equipment and controls to include Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment.Required Skills/AbilitiesMust be able to read prints, diagrams, schematics, programs and operating instructions and have a record of dependability and outstanding job attendanceAssist in the maintaining of preventive maintenance schedule for all electronics/equipmentMust be able to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyorsTroubleshooting maintaining and installing electrical equipment.Provide technical assistance on the design, repair, or improvement of equipmentQualifications5+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrician within a manufacturing environmentAn Associate degree in Electrical Technology and/or graduation from an acceptable Technical Training Institution in an electrical or electronic systems program is preferred.Proven experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer-controlled production equipment essentialMust be able to read and understand complex program and equipment manuals with a high degree of comprehension and accuracyPossess experience in AC/DC motor control.Glen-Gery offers a competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance and 401(k) plan.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
