Position available for FT or PT Veterinarian in Shorewood, Illinois Well established, independent Small Animal Hospital located in Shorewood, Illinois, is looking for a part time or full time Veterinarian. Our practice was fully remodeled 7 years ago and since then we have been growing non-stop. Being a long term established practice has the advantage of having formed good relationship with our clients with in some cases having two or three generations of the same family as clients. We are non-corporate so all business decisions are taken in house and at a timely manner. We have several referral and emergency practices close-by so there will be no after-hours on-call work.Responsabilities:Wellness care for dogs and catsSurgical care (mostly spays and neuters)Diagnosing and treating illnesses in small animalsMaintenance of good medical records'Working as a team with other doctors, technicians and assistants Keeping up with the latest in medical and surgical care via continuing education RequirementsDVM or equivalent degreeIllinois license to practice Veterinary Medicine in good standingBe a good communicator both with staff and clientsBe a good team player especially during busy or stressful timesBe willing to provide excellent, compassionate care to pets and their humans BenefitsFour day work weekProduction based compensation or straight salary, we are flexible so, let's talk about it!PTOGenerous CE allowance Will pay for your license, DEA and up to two professional organization membershipsHealth insurance allowancePension planNew graduates are welcome to apply and we are willing to mentor you.
