Our central location in Aurora provides easy access to all major highways.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a CDL A Truck Driver at Meyers Motor Transportation Co. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting freight across the United States. The day-to-day tasks include driving trucks, loading and unloading cargo, conducting pre-trip inspections, following traffic laws and company policies, and maintaining accurate records. While the role is primarily located in Aurora, IL, there is flexibility for some remote work.QualificationsValid CDL A license and clean driving recordExperience in operating commercial vehiclesKnowledge of traffic laws and regulationsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy itemsAttention to detail and commitment to safetyFlexibility for work schedule and willingness to travelExperience in the freight transportation industry is a plusExperience driving a Flatbed trailer is a must Must know how to tarp, strap, chain, etc.
