Leidos Life promotes excellent work-life balance.  You can make an impact and have time for your well-being.Leidos offers many opportunities for career development and advancement.The successful applicant will be a part of a large, dynamic workforce.Learn more at and You'll Do Lead the upgrade of our customer's operational environment to an upgraded platform and software product environment capable of Support operationsCollaborate with your team to design the best solution for successFollow best practices for availability, security, backup and recovery, and integrity of Oracle databases.Contribute to formulating and documenting company database standards, guidelines, and operational proceduresLead by example, setting high standards for technical excellence, problem-solving, and proactive approaches to challengesAbout YouOwns a problem to the endProud to share in team's successAble to do your best work in a team setting and autonomouslyWants to grow a career with a great companyWhat You'll BringBS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experienceAt least 15 years of database management experienceProficiency in Engineering and Managing Replication technologies like Oracle Golden GateMinimum of 10 years of experience with Oracle10+ years of relevant experience in implementing and maintaining Golden Gate replications across multiple OracleA high level of competence in PL/SQLExperience in database architectures, replication, problem diagnosis and resolution, shell scripting, PL/SQL development, and backup and recovery is also requiredExperience in troubleshooting problems relating to the Oracle database that may originate or exist in the infrastructure that supports the data store including but not limited to application server, network, storage, or operating system component/layerExperience with Golden Gate ReplicationExperience in upgrading, patching, and migrating databasesExperience in scripting to automate routine database tasks and maintenanceStrong knowledge of building complex SQL queriesSelf-starter and be able to perform work with minimal supervisory directionExtremely detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsYou Might Also Have: Experience with Sun/Solaris Operating SystemExperience with shell and perl or python scriptingOracle 10g, 11g administration is a plusExtensive experience with Golden Gate replication (multi directional) and Conflict Detection & Resolution (CDR) is desirableAt Leidos, the opportunities are boundless.
