About the Role
As a Big Lots Store Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences while supporting daily store operations. From stocking shelves to assisting at checkout, you’ll help create a welcoming and efficient shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with locating products.
- Merchandising: Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain store presentation standards.
- Cashier Duties: Operate registers, process transactions, and handle returns.
- Inventory: Assist with inventory counts and ensure products are rotated properly.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and move merchandise
- Retail experience is a plus but not required
