Just because you didn’t go to college doesn’t mean that you can’t pursue careers that pay six figures. Some of these jobs do require a technical degree to reinforce your expertise, but if you enjoy working in a labor role you should consider some of these careers.

1.) Elevator Installers and Repair Workers –
These employees service, repair, and maintain elevators. There is a great deal of skill involved, which is why it is recommended to take an apprenticeship so you can learn the trade. Usually all you need is a high school diploma, and the average salary is 76,650 per year. This is great money for a career that requires little education. You’ll start at a high hourly wage and continue to earn big money for the rest of your career.
2.) Subway Operators—
This is an excellent career to choose if you enjoy serving the public and working with customers. You help people get around and if you stay around for long enough you will receive a good retirement package from the city. The average salary for these jobs is 60,000 per year, which is great for someone with no degree. This is a highly competitive career, so make sure you submit a keyword rich resume when you are applying for the job.
3.) Commercial Diver—
Divers work in many different industries, including photography, engineering, and marine science. They have an average salary of 58,000 per year, and if you are good at what you do, you can earn six figures. There are even divers who specialize in diving at golf courses and selling back the golf balls that they recover. If you can find a niche to capitalize on your diving skills, you can easily turn it into your own business and start earning money doing something that you truly love.

You don’t need an education to make a good salary, but you do need hard work and determination.
