Responsibilities: ?
Prepare annual information requests for domestic and foreign subsidiaries to
report the information required to complete and file the federal and state tax
returns. Review and analyze the completed requests and follow up with the
subsidiaries to ensure information is accurate and complete. ? Prepare Federal
(Forms 1120, 5471, 1118, etc.) and state tax returns, extensions and estimated
tax payments including supporting documentation. Also responsible for annual
reports, depreciation, tax gross-ups, and Forms 1099-MISC, sales and use tax and
property tax for the Corporate group. ? Prepare the income tax accounting (tax
provision) work papers. Obtain the necessary information from the domestic and
foreign subsidiaries to complete the provision work papers. Prepare the deferred
tax entries and roll forward the inventory of deferred tax assets and
liabilities and tax contingencies for each subsidiary. ? Conduct tax research
and assist the Corporate Tax Managers and the Tax Director with the
implementation a variety of federal, state and international tax planning
projects. These projects span a variety of areas such as accounting methods,
research credit, Section 199 deduction, state nexus and A&A planning, foreign
tax credits and Subpart F income.
