Job duties: Riverview Psychiatric Center (seeks Licensed Practical Nurse's (LPN) to provide paraprofessional support work in the care and treatment of patients and residents at a state institution or facility. Work includes providing direct patient care, administering medications, and providing medical treatment as prescribed by a medical health care professional. Assistance and guidance may be given to other employees administering medication and providing direct patient care. Work is performed under general supervision. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a state approved school of practical nursing. Possession of a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Maine State Board of Nursing. Must have the ability to work overtime.
