The Senior Global Procurement Manager strategically leads and optimizes the procurement processes on a global scale. This role entails developing and implementing procurement strategies, fostering strong vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost-effective and sustainable procurement practices. The Senior Global Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, mitigating risks, and contributing to the overall success of the organization's supply chain management.Are You Looking toNegotiate contracts with a focus on technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.Showcase proficiency in performance improvement tools and methodologies, including Lean methodology, Six Sigma, problem-solving techniques, and data collection/mining.Proactively lead, coach, and mentor team members, overseeing recruitment, counseling, and motivation efforts to maintain a well-balanced staffing structure aligned with profitability and growth goals.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies related to the procurement of technical components.Develop and execute global procurement strategies aligned with organizational corporate technology trends and market intelligence into procurement planning.What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in a related discipline such as EE, ME, IE, or BS; MBA preferred.Eight or more years of direct manufacturing experience, and within supply chain management.Must have working knowledge and experience in commodity management.Proven success in managing quality related programs and initiatives across multiple domestic sites.Demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills.Aptitude to work without close supervision.Ability to interface and work well with all levels of management personnel across/down functional lines.Prior management experience and quality discipline exposure to telecommunication, defense, aerospace and space products and their requirements preferred.Proven success in managing supply chain programs and initiatives across multiple global locations preferred.Membership in relevant professional organizations such as APICS or CPIM preferred.Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.What You'll GetFull benefits package including medical, dental, vision.401k with matchHybrid remote work scheduleEmployed paid tuition assistance program that covers up 100% of costs.Physical RequirementsExtended periods of desk-based work and computer usage.Prolonged periods of standing (trade shows, customer visits, manufacturing facilities).Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds occasionally.Work OpportunityBel will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
