Job Description:

High school diploma or equivalency thereof. Must have a good driving record. Must have Commercial Operators License. Must have knowledge of DOT requirements and regulations as well as local and state laws. Must be physically capable of manual work and able to lift at least 100 pounds. Essential duties and responsibilities: Inspect trucks and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations. Drive dump truck, tractor with trailer or side-dump or truck with trailer that qualifies as need of a CDL driver to and from destination. Load trucks and trailer in accordance with DOT weight requirements. Inform mechanics of needed repairs and assist them as needed. Perform regular maintenance on trucks or tractors. Keep all equipment clean on the inside and out. Be aware of safety concerns at all times and ensure a safe working environment. Able to work together with a crew to make jobs efficient and profitable. Other duties as needed.
