Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Monday-Friday - Flexible Start Time 40 Hours per week Pay: $27 Tired of bedside nursing? Looking for more flexibility? We are seeking a fulltime LPN. This is not your typical nursing position. We offer fulltime Monday-Friday 8 hour days with flexible start times. No on call responsibilities. Weekends off and Paid holidays off. Starting wage of $27.00 an hour. Daily tasks include but are not limited to coordination of client discharges, intake assessments of new clients, auditing of in home medications and medication administration records, management of new medication orders and training of staff for new diagnoses. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of basic nursing concepts including pharmacology. They must thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to adequately manage multiple tasks within a day. Great communication skills and organizational skills are a must to thrive in this position. They should also have the capability to think outside of the box and a strong desire to learn and grow as a nurse. A general understanding of computers such as email, excel and Microsoft word is beneficial. Knowledge of 6400 regulations are a plus but we will train the right candidate. Candidates must be strongly self-motivated and possess excellent time management skills. Qualifications: * Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field, or a graduate of an accredited LPN program. * One year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity. * Current state LPN or LVN License. * Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance. * Additional certifications as required by state licensing regulations such as CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training. * Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families. * You will make a difference every day and help to provide quality of life enhancing services to the individuals we serve.
