Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics - Croton - on - Hudson - Day NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group-Hudson Valley-Northern Westchester County. Croton-on-Hudson NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups (NYPMG) Practices are part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation's most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools. NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley's pediatricians provide the full range of pediatric services for newborns, infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents. From birth through adolescence, we address the broad range of needs faced by our young patients and prepare them to advocate for their own health as they reach adulthood. Our services include: * Routine physical examinations * Routine childhood vaccinations * Flu vaccination * Vision and hearing assessment * Treatment of ear infections, strep throat, rashes, eye infections, minor injuries, digestive conditions, and other common pediatric disorders * Referral to pediatric specialists for other disorders, as needed * Assessment of growth and development * Evaluation of mental health/depression screening in adolescents The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group (NYPMG), divisions, and the Clinical Nursing departments/practices. This is a full time 40 hour work week. Must be available 9:00am-5:00pm-1 late night varies - 11:00am-7:00pm/10:00am-6:00pm. Monday-Friday, 1 Saturday per month 9:00am-12:00pm. Practice is located at 35 South Riverside, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Required Criteria: * Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program. * High School Diploma or equivalent GED. * Current Licensure and registration as a LPN in New York State. * Knowledge in Principals of infection control, performance improvements and delegation.
