This is a flexible role that allows for work out of a home office with the expectation of periodic physical presence as defined by the manager.Duration: 12 monthsPay Rate Range: $40/hr w2Position Overview & Purpose: The Network Administrator is the primary point of contact for internal business and technology customers. The position participates in monitoring of network alerts, technical support on routine production issues and Incident ticket administration. The role ensures production systems environment operate reliably and efficiently. Required: 1-2 years of experience in a large 24x7 high availability data center operations environment. Possess specialized knowledge and understanding of network and server operating systems normally obtained through formal technical training Strong problem solving and decision-making skills focusing on efficient service restoration. Ability to adapt to the contract role and understand the limitations of the positionRoles & Responsibilities: Provide 2nd level network support on technical escalations from the IT Service Desk. Manage company VPN Incidents, track, and provide updates to stakeholders. Manage company Incidents for Branch network circuits and Telecom vendor escalations. Monitor MoogSoft alerts/situations, triage, record Incidents and participate in service recovery events. Manage Remedy Incident queues with strategic prioritization of Incidents within established SLAs and MTTRs. Evaluate issues and escalate to senior technicians, engineers, and/or the vendor as appropriate. Provide immediate support on production issues with focus on immediate restoration. Advocate for business client facing teams on issues requiring support and awareness. Collaborate with Engineers and Service Desk on items requiring training and knowledge plete work assignments based on department priorities and system criticality. Identify continuous service delivery opportunities to improve IT service readiness. Identify and contribute improvement opportunities that align with services enabling business success. Facilitate conference calls for daily market open system preparation, coordinating system issues and directing teams to join ongoing technical calls.If you are interested in this job then please click APPLY NOW.
