Your primary focus will be on providing support for financial software applications, catering to equity, commodities, interest rate derivatives (IRD), FX cash trading desks, as well as market risk and finance departments.Your responsibilities will encompass problem definition, solution proposal, refinement, development, configuration, and deployment of comprehensive solutions. Additionally, you'll guide project teams, contribute to proposal development, client training, internal capability-building, and assist in outlining project scopes. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting consulting solutions that address the evolving needs of our clients in the global marketplace.Key Responsibilities:Assume ownership of issues and escalate as necessary, ensuring resolution within agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Maintain full compliance with internal procedures as stipulated by Audit/Compliance guidelines.Mentor team members to enhance both their technical prowess and interpersonal skills.Gather, write and review test cases. Review test cases with the business. Build Murex workflow and BO confirmation / settlement. Contribute to the sign-off process of the test/ go-live documents for patch upgrade. Required Qualifications:- At least 5 years of experience in Financial Services, with a focus on Murex MXML/Workflows.- Proficiency in back-office functions such as payment processing, settlement, and confirmation.- Ideally, a minimum of 5 years' experience in an application support role.- Configuration of workflows, development of interfaces with internal and external systems within the ecosystem.- Sound understanding of Murex Architecture, Workflow tasks, and Objects.- Previous experience in implementing exchange workflows and back-office workflows.- Proficient in Unix and SQL query handling.- Experience across equity, commodities, IRD, and FX Cash asset classes.- Basic understanding of Pre-Trade and Murex Datamart functionalities.- Proficiency in analyzing Business Requirement documents and crafting technical design documents.- Track record of incident resolution, optimization, and improvement delivery.- Familiarity with release and configuration management processes.- Bonus: Experience with Agile/DevOps framework.- Strong team player with a proactive approach to task ownership.- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and collaboration.- Excellent stakeholder management skills with clear and concise written and oral communication abilities, catering to both technical and business stakeholders.- Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
