Join us in our mission to redefine fashion for a sustainable future, one garment at a time.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Support designer and technical designer in sourcing and costing and development functions· Answer daily e-mail communication with factories and mills, in a timely and complete manor.· Assist in supporting special projects, when needed· Solve any production issues by working closely with the Production team· Ensure on-time delivery by supporting cost effective on brand raw materials and trims· Partners Design and production to maintain all development calendars with multiple seasons overlapping and meet all deadlines· Responsible for sending out all development sample requests and managing T&A on samples.· Manage and track samples from vendors and keep them organized and available for meetings· Development of wash, trim and finishing for all products· Work with design to establish and maintain color palettes seasonally, conduct all lab dips, and strike off commenting and libraries.· Manage the development of new products across markets (sourcing and/or production)· Ensure an on-time, on-budget, and quality development· Demonstrate experiences working with product (Fit, Lifecycle, and delivery dates)· Responsible for creating BOMs and detail sheets and working with design on approvalsRequirements:· Textile Science/Structure and Sustainability Expert· Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred· 6+ years of apparel product development experience· Basic understanding of garment construction and technical knowledge of production preferred· Basic understanding of the product lifestyle· Must be proactive and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency· Must have exceptional organizational skills· Understanding of Time and Action timelines to ensure accuracy and on-time deliveries· Highly detail-oriented· Demonstrates self-motivation and adeptness in independently managing workloads with efficiency· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills· Proficiency in MS Suite, advanced knowledge of Excel· 5 days a week, onsiteNEW YORK PAY RATE: $80,000 - $100,000At Delta Galil, we strive to hire and nurture amazing talent.
