Our ideal candidate should have experience in managing CEI projects for the FDOT, Florida Turnpike Enterprise, and/or local municipalities.Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Ability to: communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)Directing a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection programPlanning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff membersDeveloping and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and proceduresReviewing programs for conformance with Department of Transportation standardsAssist in marketing and business development effortsEducation and Experience: Civil Engineering degree and six (6) years of engineering experienceTwo (2) of those years involved in relevant transportation projectsMaster's Degree in Engineering may be substituted for one (1) years of engineering experienceLicensure: Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of FloridaAbility to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another stateQualifications / Certifications: FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)CTQP Quality Control ManagerExperience with Project Solve SharePoint(PSSP)Proficient in computer programs / engineering software necessary to perform these duties, such as Microsoft Office Suite, MAC, AASHTO Project Construction (PrC)Benefits: Competitive Salary401(K) with Company MatchHealth InsuranceDental, Vision, and AFLAC AvailableLife InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)
