We are leaders in building what's next because we see the path to get there and we're setting a new standard of exceptional along the way.Let's build together!KEY FUNCTIONSPerforming a variety of activities supporting the Port Authority of NY and NJ reporting requirements.Performing field inspections and reviewing operations to confirm facilities are operating in accordance with standards.Inspecting non-hazardous material storage areas and general process operationsEnforcing provisions of wastewater and storm water standards including Federal, State, and local regulations.Creating and maintaining various types of reports and records to support compliance reporting requirements.Assists in the research, development, implementation, and presentation of new programs.Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting requirements.Keeping thorough records.Performs related duties as required.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of principles and practices of engineering as applied to environmental engineering; pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations applicable to environmental and safety compliance Principles and methods of conducting and analyzing complex water quality and environmental studiesPrinciples and methods of conducting safety risk assessments and onsite environmental inspectionsCompile, interpret, and evaluate numerical dataAbility to provide technical guidance and expertise on environmental and safety compliance issuesCommunicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; and establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of workBachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety, Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or a closely related field is requiredWhy HauglandHaugland Group, our benefits are designed to convey company culture and values which has employees at its forefront.We offer a 401k with 5% employer matchPotential for annual performance-based raisePaid Time offPaid company observed holidaysEducational and professional advancement opportunitiesFrequent company-sponsored eventsRelaxed, friendly officeFast paced, exciting environmentCompensation Goal for this role is 90-130kHaugland Group LLC and its operating divisions, affiliates, related entities, and subsidiaries (collectively, "the Company") do not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or employment agencies.
