We are adding to our motivated team that pride themselves on being client-focused, biased to action, improving together, and insistent on excellence and integrity.Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to our Chief Strategy Officer based in our Chicago Office.What You Will DoDrive 2024 strategic initiatives related to internal and external reporting from planning, design, cross-functional collaboration, through to executionIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to offer actionable insights and inform company strategyCollaborate with business unit owners, team members, department heads, and external partners to define data needs, project requirements, and outputs.Collaborate closely with data engineering team on development requirements for new data sets and metrics and on data quality issuesDesign, create, and deploy new dashboards and other reporting solutions spanning a variety of data sets for use across several functions and user profilesManage the analytics function including vendors and onshore/offshore resources and prioritize workstreams accordinglyCollaborate closely with internal users and third-party consultants to ensure underlying operational systems are designed and administered to support best-in-class analyticsEstablish the engagement model for analytics in the organization and ensure data governance framework is adhered toAct as the primary owner of PowerBI; ensuring that data is accurate and up-to-date and stakeholders have the appropriate access and training resourcesDevelop/support ad hoc analyses based on the needs of the businessParticipate in exploration and evaluation of additional analytics solutions on behalf of departments across the organizationWhat it takes to join the familyBachelor's degree, 2-3 years of experience in analytics at a high growth organization; experience with healthcare data a plus.Prior analytics leadership experience or desire to manage analytics function; experience working with / managing external vendors a plus.Advanced proficiency in PowerBI and Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).Experience working with data engineering teams, familiarity with relational database design principles, and working understanding of the analytics stack (data visualization, data transformation, data warehousing, and data ingestion).Experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical products.Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively: serve as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders.Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment. Ability to take initiative and navigate through ambiguity.Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.Flexible in handling a wide range of duties and projects simultaneously as needs arise.Why Assembly?
