Job Title: Geotechnical Project ManagerJob Type: Direct HireLocation: Cincinnati OH, Erlanger, KY, or Kansas City, MOWork Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorshipReferral Fee: If you refer the right candidate to us and they get hired for this role....we will pay you +/- $2,500!!Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Job Responsibilities:Performs technical work with competence on assignments with increasing complexity depending on experienceLocates, observes, and logs field explorations and activitiesOrganizes field operations and can provide oversight of field activitiesInstalls, reads, and interprets field instrumentation and performs field measurementsIs responsible for collecting samples and transporting them to the laboratoryDescribes samplesPrepares reports on-field activities and summarizes field and laboratory dataPerforms scientific, geologic, or engineering analyses and studiesChecks work for accuracy and completeness of the projectChecks vendors' invoicesPractices lose prevention techniquesAlerts project manager or supervisor to technical, managerial, or administrative problems arising during a contractPrepares technical reports on routine projects and more challenging projects based on experienceMust be able to work independently on varied assignmentsExercises responsible judgment on technical matters within the limits of current experience levelMay discuss technical issues with client after review and approval by Supervisor or Project ManagerProjects a positive image of the Firm in dealings with outside groups and clientsMaintains existing and develops new client relationshipsThis position offers career advancement such as paid certifications and training. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering. MS degree in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field desiredSeven to ten years' progressively responsible experience in a specialty fieldKnowledge of and experience with geotechnical engineering softwareKnowledge of various exploratory and laboratory techniques
