As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of security infrastructure and operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of access to all technology. You will understand the organization's security policies and work with auditors and GRC manager to ensure compliance with those policies. You will devise sound security procedures and guidelines to comply with security policies and standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the protection of our organization's assets and information, as well as the mitigation of security risks.Your expertise in security engineering and operations will be crucial in developing and implementing security measures and protocols that align with industry best practices. You will lead a team of security engineers and analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our security systems.This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will have a direct impact on the security and success of our organization.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of security systems and protocols.Provide guidance and support to a team of security engineers and analysts.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the protection of our organization's assets and information.Manage access provisioning to all applications, systems, and network devices.Understand the organization's security policies and work with auditors and GRC manager to ensure compliance with those policies.Document sound security procedures and guidelines to comply with security policies and standards.Continuously monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their integration into our security infrastructure.Develop and execute security training programs to promote awareness and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.A minimum of 5 (Five) years of experience in security engineering and operations.In-depth knowledge of security systems, protocols, and industry best practices.Experience leading and managing a team of security engineers and analysts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.CISSP, CISM certifications are required.Proficiency in building and nurturing relationships both internally and externally.Based in Greater Tampa or willing to relocate.
