SOHA Structural Engineers is accepting applications for an in-person Structural Engineer / Project Engineer position to join our team in San Francisco. Candidates for this position should have significant experience in design of buildings and structures utilizing one or more of the following construction materials: concrete, steel, masonry and wood (basic fundamentals of wood design as a minimum).Want to apply Read all the information about this position below, then hit the apply button.So, if you are looking for more diverse and challenging projects, the opportunity to use your experience and expand your skills in the engineering field, or if you want the opportunity to work towards becoming a part of the firm's future leadership team, we'd love to have you on our team!ResponsibilitiesHelp lead day-to-day design, construction and coordination activities, working with the engineering and drafting staff.Effectively communicate with the Project Manager and other design team members for clear and concise project related technical concepts and methods.Lead the preparation of the construction documents and other discipline's coordination.Ability to work on multiple projects, simultaneously.Assist in quality control, and project financial and time management.Qualifications5+ years of experience designing various structural engineering projects.Master's degree in structural engineering is preferred; undergraduate degree is required.Professional Civil Engineer license: Structural Engineer license is preferred.Strong technical background in analysis, design, and detailing.Experience with software: Excel, ETABS, SAP, Risa, Revit, AutoCad, MS Word, Power Point.Our team is made up of friendly and hardworking people who contribute to our inclusive, collaborative, and casual work environment.
