Made in the USA, we are proud to offer a lifetime warranty on most products.Scroll down to find an indepth overview of this job, and what is expected of candidates Make an application by clicking on the Apply button.Job DescriptionThe Electronics Technician is broadly responsible for test processes, test results management, hand fabrication, component troubleshooting of production products, assisting in the development and maintenance of electronic test processes for production/assembly, assists with the regulatory and industry standardized tests, assists with design, component selection and testing of new products, creates specification sheets and end user documentation such as installation guides and troubleshooting steps.Essential Duties, Responsibilities:Diagnoses and isolates product malfunctions as reported by users and customers.Recommends changes in processes to simplify assembly and production of electrical components or end products.Sets up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life cycle tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype(s) or production model(s).Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions.Conducts electrical functionality tests, collects data to ensure product meets the desired product requirements for the life of the product.Assembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. .Analyzes, interprets test data. Makes recommendations for improvements.Contributes to team effort by performing other tasks as appropriate and/or necessary.Writes user manuals or product specification sheets for end user and website.Creates and maintains pre-production checklists for products to pass before production.Qualifications & Abilities:2 Year Electronic Degree or 5+ years of demonstrated relevant experience. Competency in repairing electronic circuit testing, troubleshooting and manufacturing at component level.Ability to follow and read work instructions, prints, schematics, drawings, etc.Strong technical computer system (hardware & software) knowledge with standards such as 802.11, USB, Bluetooth, HDMIHands-on problem solving style.Strong verbal communication and writing skills.Ability to create informative documentation for end users such as installation, specifications and user instructions.Self-motivated and self-directed, requiring minimal oversight to meet objectives and timelines.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.Able to pass a background check and drug screen.12VDC Vehicle background of high valueUSB Data and Power Specification background of high valueSalary Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 AnnuallyBenefits:Employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceThree weeks of PTO (up to 4 weeks with tenure) with seven paid holidays401k with up to 4% employer matchAdditional paid parental leave beyond state/federal offeringsQuarterly catered lunch events for all employeesRAM Mounts product discountsPosition Status: Full TimePosition Location: HybridA drug screening will also be required (THC or Marijuana not screened during pre-employment test).
