As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of heavy-lift launch vehicle assemblies and subassemblies. In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.Technical Project Manager: (Functional Responsibilities) -Knowledge of launch vehicle components/subsystems, hands-on experience with phased-gate production, master manufacturing plans, large-scale (30 ton+) lifting devices and tooling. -Hands-on experience and demonstrated aptitude with aerospace hardware assembly and sub-assembly inspection, integration and documentation of manufacturing processes. -Demonstrated, competent skillset with aerospace hardware assemblies, static and rotational components; valves, hydraulics, propellants, fins and/or mechanical landing gear. -Proven familiarity to drive engineering documents, drawing revisions, and configuration management with ManTech processes which focus on quality and repeatability. -Multifunctional leadership role with interpersonal skills and knowledge needed in the smooth transition of complex vehicle systems, design concept to flight acceptance. Job Qualifications: -BS and/or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar discipline. -Minimum of 8-12 years' experience in hardware development and project management. -Experience in the set-up and facilitation of production flow through fabrication shops. -Experience in identifying and mitigating and expediting resolution of problems at supplier facilities. -Identifying and leading the process of tool improvements. -Tracking and reporting of part status, delivery dates and roadblocks. -Experience analyzing sophisticated inventory spreadsheets and Tableau dashboards. -Experience in creating and delivery of daily status reports to management. -Very strong, advanced digital technical proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project. -Occasional travel may be required as necessary as needed. Must be a U.S. citizen. Desired Skills: -Project management certification (PMP - Certified Project Manager). -Knowledge and experience using CATIA, CREO, Windchill. -Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes. -First Article Inspection (FAI) QA requirements. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $110,000 to $120,000.
