We help effectively match the right technology professional to their organization, recruiting for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct roles.Our client in Glen Rock, NJ has an immediate need for a Sr. Systems Architect/VP level. Please note that this is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity with our client and NOT with Core BTS.***Qualified candidates MUST be able to commute to the job site 3 days a week in Glen Rock, NJ for this hybrid work environment. ***If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.The Sr. Systems Architect/VP will report to the Chief Information Officer and be responsible for the development and implementation of the overall Technology, Systems and Architecture strategy.Responsibilities Include:1. Strategic Technology Leadership:Collaborate with the CIO, CFO, and other senior leaders to develop and execute the overall technology, systems, and architecture strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.Drive innovation and technological advancement to enhance business capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and drive competitive advantage.Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the company's business model and future growth.2. Architecture and Systems Governance:Define and maintain the company's enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability, and security requirements.Establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for architecture design, systems integration, and data management to ensure consistency and interoperability across the organization.Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions and platforms, considering factors such as cost, functionality, scalability, and strategic fit.3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with directors and senior directors leading portfolios in Supply Chain, Infrastructure, BI & Data Analytics, and eCommerce to ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business priorities.Foster collaboration and communication between IT and other functional areas to drive cross-functional projects and initiatives, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.4. Talent Development and Team Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing IT and architecture team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.Develop talent pipelines and succession plans to ensure the availability of skilled resources to support current and future business needs.Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, empowering them to grow and excel in their roles.5. Vendor Management and Partnerships:Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring delivery of quality products and services.Evaluate new technology vendors and partnerships, assessing their capabilities and fit with the company's strategic objectives.Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.6. Financial Management and Budget Oversight:Develop and manage the IT and architecture budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and financial objectives.Monitor and report on IT spending and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.Provide transparent and accountable financial stewardship, demonstrating the value of IT investments to the organization's bottom line.7. Change Management and Organizational Alignment:Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new technologies and processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement, empowering employees to embrace change and adapt to evolving business needs.Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, gaining their trust and support for technology initiatives and strategic objectives.Wholesale and/or Retail Industry experience required
