This company places importance on continually developing their employees - helping shape their futures as they also shape the future of the car.Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.What They Offer:Full benefits package - Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP, 401k MatchLTD, STD, AD&DEmployer HSA Contribution Progressive PTO Plan And More!What You Need:BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient in troubleshooting automated assembly processes.3+ years of manufacturing experience in the automotive industry.Proficiency with MS Office Suite.What Your Role Will Look Like:The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control assembly processes, engineering systems, and machinery, working closely with the Design, Operations, Maintenance and Purchasing departments. This role may require you to be flexible with shift structure and hours.Coordinate between engineering and maintenance to ensure maximum plant availability.Provide technical support to the plant on engineering matters to reduce downtime.Develop short, medium, and long-term improvement plans to achieve maintenance objectives.Coordinate the preparation for all maintenance related project technical documents to ensure that all content and cost are within the scope of work.Develop and maintain Technical Information for the maintenance department.Monitor frequency and modes of equipment failures and breakdowns to drive root cause analysis, suggest changes to processes and equipment to prevent reoccurrence.Provide on-the-job coaching to the maintenance technicians in the team and develop problem solving skills.Perform reviews of the preventative maintenance program and improve areas where required.
