Senior Software Engineer This role is with a Maris Financial Services PartnerBoston, MA - Hybrid Role - We are targeting local candidates that can be in the Boston office 1-2 days per week.12 Month + contract (or contract to hire, if desired)Do not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.Overview:The Senior Software Engineer will participate in a high level development capacity on a project building a robust, next gen web apps for an asset management firm in modern technologies. Previous experience in financial services preferred, but not required. Experience working with client facing teams, providing automated workflow solutions and data management tools. Experience and/or understanding of the various domains within an asset management firm (investment operations, performance and attribution, trading etc.) is desired, but not required.Requirements:Senior or Technical Lead level development experienceSeveral years of coding experience in Python and C#.Experience working in an AWS Tech Stack (Lambda, ECS, Aurora, etc.)Experience building REST API'sExperience with CI/CD and Test Driven DevelopmentExperience building API's and services for data access and integration purposes.Prior experience working with Amazon Web Services is required.Prior UI experience with React or Node is a plus.Prior experience with the Snowflake Data Platform is a plus.
