They provide technical services to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with their partners' equipment, offering support via phone, email, or site callouts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of their journey during this period of rapid growth and contribute to the success of their ambitious plans.Role OverviewAs a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to their partner manufacturing businesses. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency in mechanical and electrical engineering, with specific expertise in CNC maintenance. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will interact directly with clients and collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective solutions.Responsibilities:Respond promptly to service requests from partner manufacturing businesses, either remotely or by conducting on-site visits.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with CNC equipment, including but not limited to machine tools, controllers, and automation systems.Utilize volt meters, perform machine diagnostics, interpret wiring diagrams, and assess control systems to identify and resolve technical problems effectively.Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of partner equipment and processes.Provide technical guidance and support to clients, offering recommendations for preventive maintenance and equipment optimization.Document service activities, including findings, solutions implemented, and recommendations for future improvements.Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in CNC equipment and related systems.Qualifications:Qualified Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in CNC maintenance and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.Proficiency in using volt meters, interpreting wiring diagrams, and conducting machine diagnostics.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and systematic approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.Willingness to travel to client sites for on-site support as needed.Additional - SalaryPlease note because this business is at an early growth phase, we don't want to miss out on applicants with our salary banding.
