Job Description:

We are seeking to add a highly-motivated structural engineer to our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience. The position will entail the design and production of structural systems in commercial, mixed-use, industrial, healthcare, multi-family and historic buildings.Salary commensurate with experience.ResponsibilitiesPrepare design calculations, drawings, specifications and design analysisPerform construction administration related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspectionsCollaborate with architects, designers and contractors on design and construction of projectsQualifications4+ years' experience in structural engineering field.Working knowledge of design & modeling software such as RISA, Revit & AutoCAD.BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited schoolKnowledge of national building and construction codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, NDS, etc.)Knowledge and experience of structural engineering concepts, principles, and practices.Knowledge of multiple types of construction is a plus.Field experience is a plusStrong written and oral communication skills.Job Type: Full-timeHave you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental & Vision insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceSchedule:Half day on FridaysAbility to commute/relocate:New Orleans, LA: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)Experience:Structural Engineering: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location: In personWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
