Senior Network EngineerDo you have the right skills and experience for this role Read on to find out, and make your application.Our Technology Services client in Salem, NH is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer with a primary focus on the design and implementation of campus wired and edge networking solutions. Applicants must be able to work onsite in Salem, NH to be eligible for this position.If you are interested and meet the qualifications below, apply with your resume for more information!Responsibilities:Implement and maintain Aruba and/or Cisco Wireless Solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and troubleshooting issues as they ariseResearch the latest network equipment, including next generation routing, switching and SDN components, staying abreast of any major updatesServe as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in defining network architectures and creating tasks lists and level of effort for the deployment of those networksDeliver network planning, design, and implementation within the context of various projects according to specifications and within appropriate timeframesLead the delivery of network hardware appliances and other network solutions including LAN, WAN, and SDN PlatformsDetermine when upgrades to equipment, hardware, and/or software are needed and carry out appropriate changesMaintain updated software to ensure optimal performanceAssist with the development and delivery of training, presentations, and updates on new services and solutionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field requiredMust have at least 5 years of network engineering experience involving complex network configuration and troubleshooting1-2 years of experience with customer network migration (both greenfield and brownfield environments) and fabric-enabled campus infrastructuresExperience designing and implementing enterprise class LAN/WAN solutionsRobust knowledge of campus routing and switching protocolsExperience analyzing Ethernet and TCPIP protocols and performing network assessmentsFamiliarity with Network Visibility tools (e.g. Cisco Thousand Eyes)Must have working knowledge of Microsoft desktop/server operating systems (e.g. Visio, Excel, Access, Active Directory)Scripting knowledge necessary for network automation a plus Cisco certification (e.g. Cisco CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, Juniper JNCIP-Ent) strongly preferredNetworking certifications and/or experience with Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc. a plusFamiliarity with general construction/architecture terms as needed to assess proposals and satisfy requirements for contractors, landlords, etc.Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers at all levelsOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion The Hollister Group is an equal opportunity employer.
