If you're passionate about continuous improvement and thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment, then we want to hear from you!Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.What You Will Be DoingSupport and participate in the APQP process for new product launchLead problem solving activities and continuous improvement efforts as it relates to customer satisfaction and quality improvementMaintain all aspects ISO/TS guidelinesDevelop and maintain operator work instructions, Process FMEA's, and Control Plan for work conducted on production linesDevelops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluationSupport the selection of measurement instruments use on the production floor and determine Gage R&R accuracy. Perform and track capability studies monthlySupport manufacturing to track, report, and eliminate scrapProvide onsite support at Customer/Supplier site to investigate and/or address concernsMaintain 8D, ICA/PCA, & CI logs to resolve customer issues and prevent recurrenceIssue Quality Problem Notice (QPN) to suppliers on quality issues, coordinate supplier and customer containment activities, and facilitate Return Material Analysis (RMA's)Support Layer Process Audit (LPA) guidelinesTrack and report monthly quality performance for Warranty (R/1000's), Plant Rejects (PPM), Process Capability, Internal Concerns (C/1000's) for the assemble productsWhat We Need From YouTo be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:3+ years experience as a Quality EngineerExperience dealing with suppliers and customers on quality assurance and resolutionManufacturing background, Automotive preferred but not requiredAll-Star SkillsetThe ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:Knowledge of safety processes such as: Kaizen, 5S, APQP, ISO9001/TS16949, Lean, 6 Sigma, 8D, and PPAPThe PerksRapidly growing organizationCompetitive benefitsWorld-renowned clientsStaffBright - Who We Are StaffBright matches professionals to rewarding Finance, IT, Engineering, and Sales and Marketing opportunities with industry-leading organizations helping accelerate careers, while delivering excellent results for our client companies.
