A leading aerospace manufacturing company is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team near Hartford, CT. This person is responsible for procuring aero-derivative, industrial gas turbine, and power turbine parts. This includes sourcing raw materials for assembly and pick-level parts.Responsibilities:Requires leadership knowledge to lead buyers for engine part programs.Need to identify, develop, and consolidate vendors for competitive pricing.Ensure team compliance with Procurement Manual and standard work.Collaborate with Program Office, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations.Responsible for all aspects of supplier relationships, including supplier delivery and quality performance, cost, and inventory management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required.10+ years of experience.Manager or supervisor experience.Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.SAP and Advanced Excel.If you or anyone in your network is interested, please let me know!
