Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (LVN)Site Of ServiceMedical Home Port at Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC) Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport, MS in support of Naval Hospital Pensacola, FL.Full Time PositionPosition QualificationRequirementsDegree: Certificate Education: Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) hands on certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Experience: Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years as an LPN.Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a LPNLVN in any one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.U.S. Citizenship: Shall be a U.S. citizenEnglish Language Requirement: Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing andor sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.HoursShifts will generally be scheduled for a nine (9) hour period Monday through Friday including an uncompensated one (1) hour meal break between the hours of 0700 and 1800.
