BakeMark is a manufacturer and distributor with 31 branches conveniently located across the U.S.Summary: The Operations Manager position will report directly to the Associate General Manager. This salary position manages all aspects of warehousing and distribution of ingredients, products, and supplies across six states. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and developing highly engaged teams working in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, an ability to lead, and hold teams accountable is a must. Comfortable working independently, with some levels of ambiguity, building on standard operating procedures for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Warehouse and Transportation Facility and Asset Management Process and Regulatory Compliance Food Safety and Branch Security Sales Enablement Skills Required: Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, timely, and decisively, both written and verbal. Articulates reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate partners in process. Critical thinking, problem solving, data analysis: Identifies process breakdowns, proactively works to solve, monitors data, and shares learnings. Teamwork: Leverages Interpersonal skills and professionalism to build a positive team spirit and customer centric atmosphere. Conflict resolution: Approaches others in respectful manner, manages team with consistency, providing clear expectations. Addresses cross department friction quickly, listens carefully and works autonomously to resolve. Time Management, Planning, and Prioritization: Uses time efficiently, schedules labor effectively to accomplish task on schedule. Is able to manage daily run the business activities while prioritizing, planning, and executing against key deliverables. Cross-functional partnerships: Ability to forge strong business relationships grounded in trust with other internal departments, external vendors, and sales representatives. Qualifications: 5 yrs working in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or services fulfillment position. 3 yrs supervising employees. Assoc. Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
