Laboratory Workflow Coordinator Location: Northbrook, IL 60062 | In the office M-F daily with flexible hours (40 hours per week)Employees: Globally - 13,0000 Team Size: 30Industry: Health and safety, scientific, consumer services Financial Information: $2B+Reports To: Laboratory ManagerResponsibilities:• Assisting with sample handling and shipping• Returning samples after tests are completed to customer (or for disposal)• Working in a laboratory environment, coordinating with engineers and project owners• Helping assign work to testing team based on different workflow streams • Organizing testing samples and scheduling - folder management, color coding • Providing information to the team for efficient sample processing • Ensuring sample information is accurate and ready for testing Ideal qualifications for someone in this role:• Highly organized with strong attention to detail• Experience working in a laboratory environment is preferred • Experience working with LIMs (laboratory information systems) is preferred• Professional, reliable - with strong problem solving skills• Experience working with hands, using basic tools and laboratory equipment Compensation: • $19.25 per hour
