Our firm prides itself on delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to meet the complex needs of our clients.IT Administrator - Midtown, New YorkAs an IT Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining our company's IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations of our accounting applications and services. Your primary responsibilities will include system administration, troubleshooting, help desk and ensuring network data integrity. You will also be involved in optimizing systems for performance and security.Job requirements and skills:Systems Administration:Manage and maintain VMware virtualized infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.Configure and optimize Windows Server and Azure environments to support accounting applications and stall, configure, and update operating systems and software applications, including CCH products such as CCH Axcess Workflow, CCH Axcess Document, CCH ProSystem fx Tax, and CCH ProSystem fx Engagement.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.Monitor and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data integrity.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a professional services environment such as accounting or finance.Strong knowledge of networking concepts, systems administration, and cybersecurity principles.Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere), Windows Server operating systems, and Azure.Experience with accounting software applications preferred, including CCH products such as CCH Axcess Workflow, CCH Axcess Document, CCH ProSystem fx Tax, and CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, as well as Microsoft Office suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal dustry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.Requirements:Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Willingness to stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends, especially regarding CCH, VMware, Windows Server, and Azure.Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work occasional after work day hours and or weekends for system maintenance or upgrades.Benefits we offer:Dental, and Vision Insurance, LIFE, STD, LTD and 401(k) plan.Paid Time off, including Summer Fridays hours.paid holidays + two paid Floating HolidaysThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of thisjob.
