Childcare Education Coach Trainer | GreensboroThe Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Education Coach Trainer to provide training, coaching, and support to daycare and preschool teachers on-site, in their classrooms in the Greensboro metro area.The ultimate goal of our Early Education Coach Trainer is to provide our children, families, teachers, and administrators with care, mentoring, training, and education all within a safe environment.Pay range: $16-$18hour, based on experience, education, and credentials.About The Sunshine House:Bright futures start here! We are one of the largest early education and childcare companies in the United States, operating more than 100 schools in 8 states.Job Responsibilities:Provide technical assistance to teachers in areas such as childcare licensing and compliance, quality rated improvement systems, high quality environments for young children, positive guidance, and moreObserve, train, and coach teachers related to quality in their classrooms and schools as related to licensing, curriculum, quality rating improvement systems, and accreditation as applicableSupport programs with compliance related to childcare licensing, healthsanitation, program quality, QRIS, andor accreditation, as applicablePlan and implement processpreparation for QRIS andor accreditation evaluation related to cleaningcreating safe and healthy environment, room arrangement, material selection, and curriculum implementationCoach teachers on appropriate interactions and quality practices related to our developmentally-appropriate curriculum, safe and healthy environments for children, positive guidance, and nurturing and responsive interactions with childrenActively participate in the orientation and onboarding of new teachersOccasional work may be required on evenings andor weekendsRequirementsNC Lead Teacher qualifiedAssociate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 24 credit hours of Early Childhood Education is required if degree is not in Early Childhood EducationAt least 3 years of experience as a teacher or primary care provider in licensed daycare, preschool, or early education setting with infants, toddlers or preschoolers requiredExperience with employees located in multiple sites preferredKnowledge Requirements & Professional SkillsExceptional knowledge of developmentally-appropriate curriculum and instruction techniques for young children; demonstrated ability to coach teachers on how to implement curriculum activitiesExceptional knowledge of Environment Rating Scales; demonstrated ability to coach teachers on appropriate interactions and practicesComprehensive knowledge of effective room arrangement in a variety of settingsPractical knowledge and use of chosen curriculum including the following: planning form and planning resources, applicable daily schedule, child portfolios as well as observations, work samples, and assessmentsCompletes work with minimal supervision; ability to set goals for self and manage those goalsAbility to juggle a variety of duties at multiple schools at the same timeAbility to occasionally travel to other areas, when needed, to help with special projects.
