JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Relationship Manager will report to the Director of the Relationship Management Team.RESPONSIBILITIESServicing Client Accounts:Develop an understanding of client history, relationship, and issues for assigned client accounts via interaction with client senior management and personnel in order to facilitate the maintenance of existing revenue streams.Understand and communicate client needs to the appropriate Management and Operational Teams.Responsible for coordinating firm resources to address specific client needs and ensure overall client satisfaction.Participate in client office visitations and periodic calls to maintain the client relationship and understand client needs.Coordinate resources with the Director of Correspondent Training to perform initial and ongoing training of client's sales force, management and back-office personnel.Track client issues utilizing CRM tool and ensure timely resolution.Growing Client Accounts:Become a Subject Matter Expert of HilltopSecurities and the platform that is provided to our clients.Prepare and present information surrounding HilltopSecurities, the financial services industry, and business intelligence about their business to advisors and senior leadership of our clients.Understand and communicate ideas for new product offerings and existing product improvements to the Director of the Relationship Management coordination with Director of the Relationship Management Team, Marketing and Product Managers, promote and distribute new products and services to be introduced to existing customers.Onboarding of new Client Accounts:Actively participate in the sales process through referrals from existing clearing customers, system demonstrations for prospects, research and resolution of the prospects' questions and concerns.Coordinate with Client, Conversion, Training and Operational Teams to develop a conversion plete and fulfill conversion milestones as required and update the Director of Correspondent Training regarding status of municate with the client about overall progress on the conversion on at least a weekly basisAdministration:Update CRM Tool with all appropriate client information (including but not limited to logging client contact information, callsmeetings, logging Call Reports) to facilitate management and performance terface with Management, Relationship Management, Compliance and Risk Management Teams to facilitate the ongoing review of existing business.Participate in the process of monitoring and assessing the risk of correspondent firms through various tools including, ACT Risk Management and FTEN as well as other technology platforms.Review monthly billing statements of assigned client accounts for accuracy.Collect past due receivable balances of assigned client accounts.Assist in the development of marketing communication deliverables (e.g., collateral, website, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)Participate in committees to develop and enhance existing products and ply with HilltopSecurities policies and procedures manuals.QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of experience in the financial services industry1 year of experience in an operations role within the financial services industryStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsEffective project management skillsEffective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work effectively with people in all levels of the organization.Ability to adapt to changing organizational priorities.Bachelor's degree in a related fieldFINRA Series 99 or Series 7 license2 or more years of experience in an operations role with a BrokerDealer3 or more years of experience as a Relationship Manager with a clearing firmExperience with relational databases and the ability to write queries.ABOUT USAt HilltopSecurities, we believe in building noble and collaborative relationships that enrich the financial future of individuals, businesses and communities.
