JobDescription:Our client is seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to join their pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Associate. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The Pharmacy Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of medications for our patients.Responsibilities:Read and analyze, forecast reports to determine the Prepack requirements for medications.Assist in coordinating the prepack process, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging.Collaborate with the pharmacy manager and other staff members to ensure timely completion of prepack tasks.Assist in monitoring inventory levels of prepackaged medications and coordinate with the inventory management team.Participate in training sessions to learn and apply prepack procedures and best practices.Maintain accurate records of prepack activities, including batch numbers, expiry dates, and lot numbers.Conduct quality control checks on prepackaged medications to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations.Identify and report any issues or discrepancies related to prepackaging to the appropriate personnel.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to prepackaging in the pharmacy setting.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification is highly desirable.Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, preferably with exposure to prepackaging.Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including knowledge of medications, dosage forms, and packaging requirements.Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all work performed.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with team members.Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and willingness to learn new software quickly.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to prepackaging in a pharmacy setting.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Note:This job description provides a general overview of the position's requirements and is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
