Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee the activation of a rig in Pascagoula, MS. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical IT expertise, project management capabilities, and a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities:Coordinate and oversee the activation of a rig, ensuring all technical aspects are implemented according to specifications and blueprintsUtilize technical IT skills to build racks, plan cable routes, and identify appropriate junctions for cablingRead and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of technical requirements.Manage the permitting process, including filling out necessary paperwork and obtaining required permits to initiate workCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the activation processMonitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement effective mitigation strategiesMaintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including project plans, progress reports, and technical specificationsProvide regular updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management, regarding project status, milestones, and deliverablesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Engineering) or equivalent experienceProven experience in technical project management, preferably in the field of IT infrastructure activation or rig activationStrong technical IT skills, including the ability to build racks, plan cable routes, and interpret technical blueprintsKnowledge of permit processes and experience obtaining permits for construction or activation projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholdersHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situationsWillingness to travel to Pascagoula, MS, and work on-site for the duration of the projectNote: This is a temporary position with a duration of 2-3 months, based in Pascagoula, MS. Candidates must be willing to relocate or travel to the project site for the duration of the assignment
